We are a small group of craftspeople in Yorkshire, UK, who take pleasure in designing and creating handcrafted items in our chosen craft.  The items on these pages are designed and created by ourselves.  We hope to increase the number of craftspeople offering their work on this site, and thus increase the number of affordable handcrafted gifts we can offer.

We do not have a physical 'shop', our outlets are the web sites and craft fairs.  Click on the Events page to see where we will be .

We have two sister sites -  www.somata.co.uk   The idea behind that site is much the same as this one, though the items there tend to be more intricate and time consuming to make, and therefore more expensive.  Commissions welcome from either site.  The second site is http://www.gemstoneboutique.co.uk/ and the items on there are all bought-in rather than hand crafted.

Also part of the Somata Group is http://Somata-PMC.co.uk where you can find out all about Precious Metal Clay, what classes we are offering in the Leeds area, and an e-store for buying the clay itself, accessories, and finished articles.  This site is currently in process of being built.

Finally, we are pleased to welcome http://ClariseJewellery.co.uk as part of the Somata Group.  Clarise offer a highly unusual range of embellished copper jewellery, notably bangles and pendants, along with beaded jewellery and a range of handmade cards and gift boxes. They also offer Jewellery Parties in your home.

Much of our work is inspired by the beautiful Yorkshire countryside we live in.
